Scott, I was surfing through web sites related to fens and I came across your site. I own a property at the southern edge of Kosciusko county Indiana that contains a fen about 6-8 acres in size. It is in the center of a 60 acre parcel that is all undeveloped woodland and marsh, some of these surrounding areas are higher sandy hills with oaks etc. that slope down into the fen areas. I have the property in the classified wildlands program. I have made the fen known to professor Sweeten at Manchester university and he visited the site and was very excited about what he saw there and the local high school biology class visited it several times this past year. Anyway I thought you might be interested in knowing about the property and you would be more than welcome to come and visit the area and see what you you might find there.
